Doubles matches, well tennis matches in general can run away from you when you're not looking.

Briton Henry Patten appears a little nervy as he's taken to 40-30 on his serve, but then benefits from a tight net that keeps a Max Purcell forehand on the Australian's side of the court.

What a fightback it almost was from Patten and Heliovaara in this tie break.

From 6-1 down they saved five set points and then created one of their own at 7-6 having won six points in a row. But the Australian pair won three points back-to-back themselves to win the set and move halfway to the title.

Patten was born in Colchester, Essex, grew up and went to school in Ipswich, Suffolk and is a fan of Ipswich Town. He is 6ft 6in with a booming serve to match.

He has a great backstory as eight years ago he was working on the outside courts at Wimbledon collecting stats for IBM.

He won't like the stat of the current score though, nor the stat that shows the Australian duo have won 92% of the points when they have got their first serves in.

The hard part about that change over for Heliovaara and Patten was that they got so close from nowhere. They had set point. They cannot dip and go down an early break.
