Draper and Alcaraz already know each other well.

This will be their sixth meeting on the ATP Tour, with 22-year-old Alcaraz leading 3-2 in the head-to-head.

They have already played twice this year. Alcaraz won their Australian Open last-16 tie in January, leading by two sets when Draper retired, but the 23-year-old Briton avenged that with a mature victory in the Indian Well semi-finals.

Off court, the pair have also struck up a friendly mutual respect.

Draper was set to head to Spain in the off season for a practice week with Alcaraz, only for a hip injury to curtail it.
