    While (most of) you have been sleeping soundly, it's been all go at Melbourne Park.

    British number two Emma Raducanu set up a match against second seed, external Iga Swiatek, external after a dogged 6-3 7-5 victory over American opponent Amanda Anisimova.

    Poland's Swiatek thrashed Slovakia's Rebecca Sramkova 6-0 6-1 earlier on Thursday.

    Former world number two Ons Jabeur was in tears on court as she struggled with breathing difficulties during her second-round Australian Open victory.

    Jabeur later revealed she was suffering with a flare-up of her asthma but recovered to beat Colombian Camila Osorio 7-5 6-3.

    There have also been wins for Elena Rybakina, Emma Navarro, and Daria Kasatkina.

    And in the men's singles, home favourite Alex de Minaur progressed as well as American Taylor Fritz and Gael Monfils.
