Top seed Aryna Sabalenka speaking after beating Serbia's Olga Danilovic: "I'm super happy with the win, Olga is a fighter and I knew it was going to be a fight. I really enjoyed playing against her, she played like a top 10 player and I'm sure soon she will be in the top 10. I enjoyed our battle and supper happy to be through this difficult match."

On her racquet tension: "I played with the same tension but my team had half kilo up and half kilo down for which reason but I felt pretty good with the same tension and the ball flew much better. When it is colder, I have to lower my tension so the ball flies a little bit better so maybe I will have to adjust my racquet to another condition."

On her team: "When I am on court, I am a completely different person, very focused, very aggressive. On the court it is about dreams and I give my all on court. Off court it is important to surround yourself with the right people and have fun with your crew and that's what I'm doing. I am really grateful to have all of them on my team, we are like family."

On how she spends days off: "It's always different, I like to walk around, shopping, sometimes out for dinner or room service. It just depends. Thanks so much guys for the atmosphere. As always you guys are amazing, thank you."
