When he’s on it, Carlos Alcaraz is the most complete player of his age I have ever seen. You look at him already and he’s the finished package.

Can you improve, yes Roger Federer at his best said there was always something you could improve but you look at him, where’s his weakness? There isn’t one.

    Lehecka 6-4 4-6 7-5 Draper

It might be for the best that Jack Draper didn't reach the final at Queen's so he has opportunity to let his knee recover before Wimbledon.

Draper crashed into the advertising barriers late in the third set.

To rub salt into the wound, Jiri Lehecka got a vital break on that point to seal his place in tomorrow's final.

    Alcaraz v Agut

When this rain does eventually blow over, we're in for a treat with 2023 Queen's champion Carlos Alcaraz set to face Roberto Bautista Agut.

    Alcaraz beat France's Arthur Rinderknech 7-5 6-4 in the quarter-finals, while 37-year-old Agut knocked out fourth seed Holger Rune 7-6 (7-5) 6-7 (4-7) 6-2.

The rain is not only frustrating for supporters who are eager to see another match get under way, but it also tests the ability of the broadcasters.

GB Davis Cup captain Leon Smith is doing his best to fill for time on the BBC One broadcast alongside presenter Clare Balding and tournament director Jamie Murray.

Topics have included his haircut and how good the food is at Queen's...

In better news, Clare Balding says we could see the players come out for the next semi-final at 16:00 BST.

Actually, the net is down but the covers are not out.

There is a group of people - ground staff and organisers - on Andy Murray Arena looking up at the sky and speaking on radios.

The fact that the covers aren't in use suggests maybe we won't be waiting too long.
