The singles action is just about to get under way as third seed Emma Navarro takes on Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia.

Navarro is looking for her second victory of 2025 after winning the Merida Open without dropping a set in March.

However, she will need to be on form against Haddad Maia, who claimed a superb 2-6 6-4 6-4 comeback win against Petra Kvitova 2-6 6-4 6-4 in round one.

The winner of this one will take on Britain's Sonay Kartal or American Amanda Anisimova in the quarter-finals. Those two are up second on centre court.
