    Andreeva 6-7 (6-8) 3-2 Boisson*

Boisson has a couple of game points but double faults on the first one.

The cry from Andreeva's box is for her to move forward and take the ball early.

She doesn't need to do that to take us to deuce when Boisson misses the forehand.

Whoops, a little slip on the baseline from Boisson gives Andreeva the first point of the game.

But the 18-year-old is not happy with some of the shouts coming from her box. In fact I think she's just told her coach to leave!

This is going to be a huge test for Mirra Andreeva psychologically.

This French crowd is ready to explode behind Lois Boisson and that is probably going to test the 18-year-old.

Andreeva did mention that she feels mentally and physically stronger, and she is going to need both of those things today.

A good serve saves the first break-back point but a blasted forehand from Boisson down the line gives her the break and puts us back on serve!

Oh dear. One long, one wide.

Andreeva needs to remind herself she is in front here otherwise she won't be for much longer.

    Boisson has two break points.

Those frustrations carry over into Andreeva's service game and she begins it with a double fault.

Andreeva is fuming at herself as Boisson takes a looping forehand early on the volley and Andreeva chases it down but can't control it and fires long.

She slams her fist into her knee as Boisson takes the hold and gets herself on the board in set two.

That forehand shot up the line has been so effective for Lois Boisson.

It forces Mirra Andreeva to slice it cross-court and then she is able to get another forehand into play and come forward.

I do think Andreeva needs to be a little bit braver when that forehand up the line from the backhand corner comes to her. She needs to rip it cross-court or down the middle because the slice has been ineffective.

    *Andreeva 6-7 (6-8) 2-0 Boisson

Boisson has a long way to chase down the ball at the net and it's a good touch to stifle Andreeva and then pump it past her on the next shot.

The Frenchwoman takes us to deuce with an overhead smash.

  12. 'Andreeva just has to stay positive'published at 14:18 British Summer Time 4 June

    *Andreeva 6-6 (6-8) 2-0 Boisson

Mirra Andreeva is doing the right things out there at the moment, she just has to stay positive.

Now is the important game because she was up 2-0 in the opening set, but dropped the break and was broken again, so she needs to consolidate the break here.

You want to keep that momentum with you.

That's some response to losing the first set! Andreeva hangs in there and takes the break at the first opportunity.

She won't be taking anything for granted after that first set but it's a super start.

We are going to find out a bit about both players here.

We are always talking about Mirra Andreeva being a future world number one, so does she have the game? Everybody thinks so.

The question mark is: does she have the mentality? This is a huge test because the whole crowd is against her. This French crowd isn't going to let anything go right now.

Having the roof on on Chatrier gives this the air of a night match and the crowd are enjoying it too.

It looks like a pretty full house cheering on their home player.

Wow! Lois Boisson is showing such tenacity, grit and belief.

I thought it was a big statement when she said she thought she could go on to win this tournament, but right now she is proving anything is possible.

She showed excellent resilience to save those two set points.
