Has there ever been a match Novak Djokovic has been the loved one?

Other than that he's had to figure out a way to turn lemons into lemonade and feed his fire. He has been better than any other player in doing that.

He does want to be loved and who doesn't? What he's done in his late thirties cannot be underestimated.

Mentally Musetti is going to be nervous and physically he's not going to be feeling fresh as a daisy.

I give it a 10-15% shot [for Musetti to win]. I firmly believe he would be in the top 10 and maybe he'll go all the way in the Slam, but today is a big ask.

  17. Musetti v Djokovic second uppublished at 12:32 British Summer Time 12 July

Friday's second semi-final on Centre Court sees Italian 25th seed Lorenzo Musetti face Serbia's second seed and seven-time Wimbledon champion, Novak Djokovic.

Musetti, 22, is on the best Grand Slam run of his career having beaten Taylor Fritz in the quarter-finals, while Djokovic was handed a bye after Australian opponent Alex de Minaur pulled out of the last-eight with injury.

The pair last met at the French Open third round, with 37-year-old Djokovic triumphing over five sets.

Djokovic will be on court for the first time since criticising the Wimbledon crowd for using fourth round opponent Holger Rune's name "as an excuse to boo".

I wonder what sort of reception the 24-time Grand Slam winner will get today?

  18. Champagne momentpublished at 12:30 British Summer Time 12 July

    Fernandez 4-1 Hewett*

    Joe Rindl
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Drama! A champagne cork has just landed on court three.

There are no sheepish faces I can spot in the crowd so either somebody is very good at looking blameless, or this cork has been launched over the stands from elsewhere.

Either way, a ball kid quickly deals with it.

This, of course, isn't the first champagne cork related issue this fortnight. Check out this video from last week.
