Federico Gomez's serve is continuously getting him out of trouble.

It's very interesting to see him willing himself through this match now, especially as he was suffering with fatigue in that third set.

He is looking towards his box, smiling and laughing, so that will relax him too.

Federico Gomez put the burners on to reach that Jack Draper forehand out wide. So much so that he ended up stood on top of the hoardings around the edge of the court.

His aggressive style has paid off but you wouldn't have thought he would still be maintaining the level at this point after more than three hours on court.

Absolutely no sign of Federico Gomez's level dropping here.

He puts another hold on the board.

A second successive hold to 15 for Jack Draper, who keeps himself in front in this fourth set.

Some more encouraging signs from the Briton that his serve was back up to scratch there.

Well, any suggestion that was a flash in the pan from Federico Gomez in the third set have just been ended.

The Argentine holds with ease in his opening service game, doing so by crashing a 139mph ace past Jack Draper.

We know Draper has increased his physicality and durability over the past 12 months or so, but it will be interesting to see how much he has in the tank in the fourth set.

The British number one has not seen any match action since 3 July.

At the end of the third set, Draper feels the need to pop off court for a break. Maybe that's to disrupt Gomez's momentum more than anything.

Will Draper try to come forward more rather than embolden Gomez at the baseline?

How will that tie-break defeat affect Jack Draper?

The early signs are good for the Briton, as he holds to 15 in the opening game of this fourth set.

But there were a couple of noticeably slower serves from the world number five in that game.

    Who saw that one coming?

Incredible from the Argentine qualifier Federico Gomez to stick with world number five Jack Draper and take him to a fourth set.

Gomez is loving life out on Armstrong now - and the Latino crew in the crowd are lapping it up.

The Argentine is still shaking his fist in celebration as he sits down on his chair at the end of the set.

Last year, Draper did not drop a set at Flushing Meadows until his semi-final defeat by Jannik Sinner.

Today he must win in four sets - at least.

Federico Gomez's forehand is unbelievable! It has been a bit wild at times but it is really helping him in these tough times.

If he can get another 141mph serve, it is definitely going to help him take this set.
