    Brilliant from Novak Djokovic.

Filip Misolic comes in behind a firm forehand but Djokovic hammers a backhand past him.

The 38-year-old is a set and a break up.

Filip Misolic had his chance. He couldn't take it and now Novak Djokovic is turning up the heat on his Austrian opponent.

Misolic falls on his back stretching for a volley, Djokovic puts the ball away into the open court to bring up two break points but then quickly goes to grab a towel for Misolic, who is fine to carry on.

  4. Djokovic saves break pointpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 31 May

    Djokovic 6-3 2-2 Misolic*

Filip Misolic is growing in confidence and earns his first break point.

He slaps a forehand past Novak Djokovic for his 20th winner to make it 30-30 and when the Serb finds the net, the world number 153 has a chance to break.

Djokovic lifts his level, though, saves with a volley at the net and proceeds to hold. But he is certainly not having everything his own way.

Novak Djokovic throws his arms out in a combination of frustration and disbelief after a brilliant forehand winner from Filip Misolic.

This is the first time the 23-year-old Austrian has faced Djokovic and, up against a legend of the game, he is giving it his best shot.

Another hold and it stays on serve in the second set.

A brutal forehand winner down the line gives Filip Misolic the merest sniff of a chance at 40-30 having gone down 40-0.

However, Novak Djokovic is having none of it.

He fires a fierce cross-court forehand right to the baseline and it's all Misolic can do to get a racquet on it - he was never getting it back over the net.

Another goal for Paris St-Germain leads to some celebrations on Court Philippe Chatrier.

It means Filip Misolic, up 40-15, has to wait as the umpire asks for quiet.

The delay doesn't seem to do him any harm. An ace wraps up his most comfortable service game of the match so far.

First set secured with minimum fuss by Novak Djokovic.

Well, in that service game anyway. An overhead smash getting the game won to 15.

Filip Misolic made the Serb work early on in that set, though. Nine break points saved before Djokovic finally took the 10th.

A ripple of celebration breaks out on Court Philippe Chatrier - signalling that Paris St-Germain have scored in the Champions League final.

I can see one young fan watching the football on his laptop and those around him rise to their feet after seeing what has happened.

Fireworks can also been seen - and heard - in the sky above the nearby Parc des Princes.

No reaction from Djokovic this time. You will remember he mimicked a kick during his match at Wimbledon when he heard the crowd reacting to England securing a Euro 2024 win against Switzerland.

  10. Djokovic to serve for the first setpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 31 May

    *Djokovic 5-3 Misolic

    Lovely stuff from Filip Misolic.

A well-executed drop shot brings Novak Djokovic to the net and Misolic then lifts the ball perfectly over his opponent to the back corner of the court.

The Austrian holds as fireworks go off outside. A sign that Paris St-Germain have just scored in the Champions League final.

Novak Djokovic is starting to warm to his task now.

A rare error at the net and a crisp backhand from Filip Misolic make this the closest game on Djokovic's serve but he remains in control and takes it to 30.

The sixth seed is a game away from taking the first set.

Novak Djokovic can't quite believe it and offers a shrug and a wry smile as Filip Misolic saves a ninth break point.

Finally, though, the break comes - and it comes after some typically brilliant defence from Djokovic.

Time and again he gets the ball back in play when Misolic looks to have the point won before the Austrian sends an overhead volley long.

If you're a PSG fan without a ticket for Munich's Allianz Arena, this is the next best place to be.

The Parc des Princes is showing the game via four big screens and, I'm told by locals, is a 48,000 sell-out.

These four fans - Melvyn Tchenquela, Louis Binnie, Antonin Griffon and Sam Montaireau - have made the 255-mile trip from their hometown Niort in south-west France after bagging their tickets.

"This is the time," Sam says when asked if PSG will finally get their hands on the Champions League trophy.

And, according to the lads, there will be carnage outside the stadium if that happens with the PSG fans known for their colourful celebrations.

With a couple of hours until kick-off, thousands are now milling about outside - chanting and setting off fireworks.

A thumping forehand winner secures another straightforward hold for Novak Djokovic.

For all Filip Misolic has done well to keep the 38-year-old at bay on his own serve, he is yet to even remotely threaten a break of his own.

Cameron Norrie will face the winner of this one, of course.

The expectation is that that will be Novak Djokovic and the three-time French Open champion is putting plenty of pressure on Filip Misolic's serve.

Misolic is standing up well to it, though, with a few eye-catching shots and saves another break point.

A fabulous drop shot catches Djokovic out and Misolic holds again.

  16. 'I feel great but it was tough out there'published at 19:51 British Summer Time 31 May

    Norrie 6-3 7-6 (7-1) 6-2 Fearnley

British number three Cameron Norrie speaks after reaching the fourth round of the French Open for the first time: "I feel great but it was really tough to get there. Tough match playing Jacob [Fearnley] today. We both went to the same university, TCU, and he has had an amazing season and an amazing breakthrough on the tour.

"I didn't know what to expect from him. I was just really happy I played a solid match. I was a bit tentative towards the end and it was a great atmosphere.

"I went through about seven shirts in three sets so I was sweating a lot and had to work hard for that so it really felt good."

On the second set: "He was playing really good when he was down. I played some of my best tennis at the second set and he played better than me. Credit to him.

"I didn't panic at all when he broke me both times. He dropped a bit in the tie-break. The toughest part was managing the fireworks next door for both of us. Looking forward to the match and it would be nice to see PSG win it."

  17. Djokovic misses seven break pointspublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 31 May

Rapid start from Novak Djokovic but he can't force the early break.

After securing a hold to love with a superb drop shot, the Serb smokes a backhand winner down the line to go up 0-40 on the Filip Musolic serve.

The Austrian comes back fighting with some hefty ground strokes of his own to get to deuce.

Djokovic forces another four break points but is denied each time with Musolic using the drop shot smartly.

After more than 10 minutes, Musolic eventually holds. He'll certainly hope to have a few easier service games than that.

Jacob Fearnley saves the first match point with a forehand winner across court - can he rescue the second?

He can't, as a double fault sends Cameron Norrie through to the fourth round.
