Jacob Fearnley is unhappy with how his level has been throughout the match but at least he has salvaged one of the breaks of serve.

I think it's an emotional tiredness that has got to him in this match.

This match has really been a story of Cameron Norrie's consistency versus Jacob Fearnley's erratic shots.

There's maybe some nerves here for Norrie as he puts a forehand long to offer break point to Fearnley, and he takes it as Norrie then goes wide at the end of a rally.

Fearnley survives for now.

So many errors from Jacob Fearnley and he is unable to find his best tennis at the moment.

Cameron Norrie is returning everything and Jacob Fearnley goes into the net to offer another break point.

Norrie makes it count this time and will now serve for the chance to move into the fourth round of the French Open for the first time.

We're just about ready to go on Court Philippe-Chatrier as Novak Djokovic continues his bid to claim a record 25th Grand Slam this evening as he takes on Austrian Filip Misolic.

It has been pretty serene progress for Djokovic so far at Roland Garros, with straight-set wins in each of the first two rounds.

He's even found time for a cycle around the around the Arc du Triomphe.

World number 153 Misolic has had to work significantly harder to reach this stage and went five sets as he upset Canadian 27th seed Denis Shapovalov in round two.

Given Djokovic has not lost to a player outside the top 100 since 2018, it will likely take another mammoth effort from Musolic to really challenge the sixth seed.

Cameron Norrie has shifted up a gear as a backhand winner across court past a stranded Jacob Fearnley brings him game point.

A comfortable hold to love for Norrie and he's edging closer to the finish line.

I can't believe how long they have been out on court because at first it felt like quite a swift match but they have been out there for over two hours now.

So slow for those two sets in the end. The tennis has had no rhythm.

No-nonsense.

But in tennis things can rapidly change. Norrie misses out on a volley to bring up 0-30.

Fearnley has a mini advantage, but he can't make the most of it! Hitting three forehand errors in a row.

A wide backhand slice then hands Norrie the game.

Cam Norrie starts set three with a decent first serve, although it's Jacob Fearnley who nabs the opening point.

Fearnley doesn't celebrate it, he keeps his head down and returns to his mark. He looks beaten.

Football fever has hit Paris.

From first thing this morning, it has been easy to spot plenty of PSG shirts on the streets of the French capital as it counts down to the Champions League final.

It’s the same at Roland Garros.

Expect many ticket-holders for the night session - when Novak Djokovic plays in the third round - to be taking sneaky glances on their phones at how their team are getting on against Inter Milan.

"We can't prohibit people to watch their telephone and to follow the football match simultaneously," said Roland Garros tournament director Amelie Mauresmo.

"There won't be 10, 20 goals. If once or twice we'll have a bit of an uproar, it's going to be fine."

Cameron Norrie played a clean first set and he didn't allow Jacob Fearnley any forehand strikes.

It has shifted dramatically. I don't think Norrie is feeling anywhere as confident as he was at the start.

It's all gone a bit quiet on Court Simonne Mathieu, the fireworks have stopped now we're not playing - typical!

Jacob Fearnley rubs his face with a Roland Garros towel. He's never played in a five-set match before by the way. That's his only route to victory now.

Blimey. What a time to be interrupted by the fireworks. Cam Norrie was not happy as his serve motion was stopped while 4-1 ahead.

With the crackers constantly popping off overhead, it sounds like the 5th of November at Roland Garros.

The bangs are occasionally startling us sat in the media seats. Two wrists are firmly on the laptop in case the knees jolt.

And, if the bangers weren't enough, loads of car horns which have started tooting outside too.
