    Four-time and defending champion Iga Swiatekrecovered from a disastrous start to beat Elena Rybakina and reach the quarter-finals earlier today.

    The Polish fifth seed won only one of the opening nine games before battling back to win 1-6 6-3 7-5.

    She will play Ukrainian 13th seed Elina Svitolina after she also produced a superb comeback to beat Italian fourth seed Jasmine Paolini 4-6 7-6 (8-6) 6-1.

    They were joined in the last eight by Belarusian top seed Aryna Sabalenka, who defeated American Amanda Anisimova 7-5 6-3.

    Sabalenka will play Chinese eighth seed Zheng Qinwen after her 7-6 (7-5) 1-6 6-3 victory over Russian 19th seed Liudmila Samsonova.
