  1. Kokkinakis breakspublished at 11:19 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 1-2 Kokkinakis*

You have to give it to Thanasi Kokkinakis. He's grimacing in between each and every point, but he's still dashing back and forth to slam down those volleys.

He does the same again here and Jack Draper's attempt at a lob to save the point misses its mark.

The British number one is in trouble.

If you’ve ever been to Melbourne you will have heard the weather is about as reliable as a chocolate fireguard.

The chill means those on court six - without a beer jacket - are wearing hoodies and wrapped in blankets.

When Cazaux disappears at the end of the set for what feels like as long as half-time at the football, Fearnley needs to stick on his hoody and keep warm by jogging on the spot.

  3. Break point Kokkinakispublished at 11:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 1-1 Kokkinakis

After gifting his opponent a break point opportunity, Jack Draper brings us back to deuce with a brilliant quickfire volley at the net.

But Thanasi Kokkinakis is on the attack and there's no let up from the Australian, who catches the Briton out with some silky slices.

  4. 'Kokkinakis wincing with pain'published at 11:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 1-1 Kokkinakis

    Gigi Salmon
BBC Sport tennis commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

I think the painkillers are wearing off for Thanasi Kokkinakis, he is grimacing, stretching and wincing with pain.

  5. Vekic saves break point to holdpublished at 11:15 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Dart 6-4 0-6 2-3 Vekic

You can't take your eyes off this.

Donna Vekic holds her nerve to see off the break point and then turns the game around - but only after Harriet Dart misses a golden chance to stay in the game when primed at the net, which she is sure to be replaying in her mind at the change of ends.

    *Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 1-1 Kokkinakis

Jack Draper holds his hands out wide and asks the crowd for a bit of love as he slams a blistering forehand winner from the back of the court.

But Thanasi Kokkinakis responds with his own moment of brilliance before forcing Draper into an error, piling the pressure on the Briton as we go to deuce.

We might not be lingering here much longer, Harriet Dart really stylistically with the counter puncher on court, dragging Donna Vekic up the court and the backhand slice pick up was not controlled.

It’s cold and windy on the outside courts… but the atmosphere is red hot!

Jacob Fearnley is playing on the AO ‘party court’, where a terrace bar stretches along one of the sidelines.

The chanting French fans are particularly rowdy but the Brits - including a few waving Scottish saltires - are giving plenty back.

This lot, coupled with more French rowdiness during Ugo Humbert’s match on court three, has led to them being labelled noisy neighbours.

I’ve just been told on the way here that Felix Auger Aliassime’s match against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was moved from court eight because the players complained about the volume…

  9. Kokkinakis holdspublished at 11:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 1-1 Kokkinakis

The noise is getting louder with every game that Thanasi Kokkinakis wins on John Cain Arena, and he's got himself another one there despite the shaky start from his double fault.

  10. Break point Dartpublished at 11:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    Dart 6-4 0-6 2-2 Vekic*

Every point feels like it could have a significant impact on the direction of this match given the violent moment swings we've had over the latter stages of this contest.

Harriet Dart continues to give her all and reaches deuce on the Donna Vekic serve.

    Another miss... Break point!

  11. Draper holds to start fourth setpublished at 11:10 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 1-0 Kokkinakis*

It's Jack Draper who gets up and running first in the fourth set, coming out on top of 25-shot rally - the longest of the match - en route to a nervy hold.

  12. Postpublished at 11:07 Greenwich Mean Time

The competition on a cold Court 14 is very much alive.

I don't think we touched enough on the fact that Harriet Dart is one set away and has been for a while from equalling her best Grand Slam run, has never been to the third round at the Australian Open, has twice made that round at Wimbledon but has never gone further.

  13. Vekic breaks backpublished at 11:07 Greenwich Mean Time

    Dart 6-4 0-6 2-2 Vekic*

What a final set this is turning into.

Donna Vekic goes after an immediate response on Harriet Dart's serve and breaks the Briton to 15 to restore parity in the decider.

Which way this one is going to go is anyone's guess.

  14. Game and third set - Fearnleypublished at 11:07 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Fearnley 3-6 7-5 6-2 0-0 Cazaux

A double fault from Arthur Cazaux and it's advantage Jacob Fearnley, who takes that third set in just over half an hour.

The momentum has shifted and it's looking very, very positive for the Briton.

  15. Set points Fearnleypublished at 11:05 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fearnley 3-6 7-5 5-2 Cazaux*

Bang! Jacob Fearnley takes advantage of a weak second serve from Arthur Cazaux, flinging back a wicked forehand winner to bring up two set points.

  16. Dart breaks in third setpublished at 11:03 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Dart 6-4 0-6 2-1 Vekic

    Here we go!

Harriet Dart makes the breakthrough in the deciding set, taking the second of her three opportunities with a forehand winner.

The lucky loser never allowed her head to drop as Donna Vekic reeled off those seven consecutive games and now the pressure is back on the 18th seed.

  17. Fearnley holds to move within one game of third setpublished at 11:03 Greenwich Mean Time

    Fearnley 3-6 7-5 5-2 Cazaux*

Jacob Fearnley is well on his way to this third set after riding out another service game. What a boost this would be to his confidence.

  18. Break points Dartpublished at 11:01 Greenwich Mean Time

    Dart 6-4 0-6 1-1 Vekic*

    The momentum swings again!

Harriet Dart goes from defending a break point to eyeing three of her own as Vekic tightens.

    Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 Kokkinakis

    Gigi Salmon
BBC Sport tennis commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

Thanasi Kokkinakis doesn't look that happy, he looks slightly surprised, he's going more and more damage to the body but he plays on and he has the lead over the 15th seed.

  20. Game and third set - Kokkinakispublished at 11:00 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 3-6 0-0 Kokkinakis

Take that! Thanasi Kokkinas was on the brink during the middle of that set, but he slams down a huge ace to win the third set.

What does Jack Draper have left? He's going to have to go the distance if he's to have any chance of booking his place in the third round.
