Sun 6-2 3-3 Raducanu*
More aggression from Emma Raducanu pays off as she builds into the court and Lulu Sun can only send her backhand looping out of court.
She's back on top in the next rally, though and brings up another break point.

We haven't seen Emma Raducanu on the back foot so far at this tournament.
At the moment she is having to absorb what is coming at her and she is not always having a say in it.
It's very difficult to do that to Raducanu so you have to admire what Lulu Sun is doing. She has got complete control over everything.
She has a great understanding of how to play on a grass court.

John: Lulu Sun very quickly gets back on track after mistakes. Emma Raducanu can’t win a game without a monumental struggle.
Sun 6-2 3-3 Raducanu*
That's a good shot from Emma Raducanu - across court and on the line. But that's even better from Lulu Sun, who generates massive power on the forehand drive volley.
And another one. This time not as much power but perfectly placed in the corner of the court for break point.

Sun is just too good, too strong behind the ball.
Sun 6-2 3-3 Raducanu*
Some of these shots do not look like they're coming from the racquet of a qualifier ranked 123rd in the world.
A pinpoint accurate cross-court forehand from Lulu Sun puts her within touching distance of another hold and she takes it to love when Emma Raducanu nudges into the net.

Raducanu is having to urge herself on, physically and emotionally, but she is hanging in there.
*Sun 6-2 2-3 Raducanu
Another difficult hold for Emma Raducanu but she is having to fight for this.
Lulu Sun slams into the net.
Sun 6-2 2-2 Raducanu*
Emma Raducanu is having to try so hard just to hold on to her serve and she loops one long on game point to take us back to deuce.
She could really do without these lengthy games.
Sinner 6-2 6-4 7-6 (11-9) Shelton
World number one Jannik Sinner, speaking on Court One after his straight set win against American 14th seed Ben Shelton:
"It was a tough match, especially the third set. I had to keep saving match point. These matches can go long but I was glad to close it in three."
On his audacious shot through the legs in the third set:
"That was just luck. There's nothing to say about that. I don't know, sometimes... I don't know what to say, honestly."
On his team:
"We have a lot of fun when we work. We work for these moments to make sure I can play the best I can here.
"All players also want to put on a show for the fans and if the match is very good then everyone enjoys it. We have to smile and be excited on the court, that's the most important thing.
On whether he would rather face Grigor Dimitrov or Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals:
"It's going to be a tough match either way.
"It's always an honour to play on this court so I'll see you in the next round."
Sun 6-2 2-2 Raducanu*
Emma Raducanu is fist pumping between points, trying to get up for this. But so far Lulu Sun has not blinked and Raducanu is running out of time to impose herself.
She produces one of her best shots of the match with a backhand passing winner down the line but then lets Lulu Sun back in with a loose forehand. Deuce.

By the way what's wrong with Heathen Chemistry? Harsh, Jonathan.

It feels like Emma Raducanu is really having to bring a high level.
Lulu Sun is so calm and composed, there's a lot of clarity of thought with her shot selection and choices that she is making out here.
For someone who has never played on Centre Court before and in this kind of atmosphere, it's incredible.

Some of these long exchanges are starting to wear on both women.
Raducanu is fighting hard and trying to build some momentum.
Sun 6-2 2-2 Raducanu*
Lulu Sun once again saves break point as Emma Raducanu's backhand is long then the qualifier wraps up the hold when the Brit goes wide.
That was a lengthy game and Sun had to save two break points. Will these long points start to take their toll?
*Sun 6-2 1-2 Raducanu
Emma Raducanu nudges into the net twice to give Lulu Sun game point but she misses the backhand to take us to deuce.
Raducanu will get a second chance at break point here with a brilliant backhand that kisses the line.

After all that tie-break drama, the match ends on a double fault. Typical!
Anyway, the end of that clash was special but it’s Jannik Sinner who moves through.
It’s a shame the third set Ben Shelton wasn’t here for the opening two.
Sinner 6-2 6-4 7-6 (11-9) Shelton
Another shot at match point for Jannik Sinner but he's against serve.
Ben Shelton goes long on his first serve and, oh no, it's a double fault.
What a way for this to end!
Sinner was made to work in the third set but his class shines through.

Incredible noise as Raducanu has a look at a break point.
A roar like Oasis have stepped onto the stage at the Etihad.
Then the groan when Raducanu hits into the net is like Noel and Liam have began with an album track off Heathen Chemistry.
