To a tie-break we go.
Jannik Sinner is loved out here but there’s many more “come on, Ben” shouts at the moment.
This is tense.

Sinner 6-2 6-4 6-6 Shelton*
Jannik Sinner has advantage and wraps up the game to force a tie-break as Ben Shelton is unable to return the following serve.
Ben Shelton will look back on that set with frustration. He had several chances to get over the line.

Sun is continuing to go after that short forehand and she is inside the court so quickly it gives her time to pick which way to go.
Serve and first shot from Sun has been incredible.

Jannik Sinner is long with his first serve.
His second bounces up nicely but Ben Shelton's aggressive forehand return is straight into the net.
Deuce.
Big chance missed!

Sho: Emma needs to come forward more, give Sun some different looks. At the moment Sun is just so comfortable.
Sun 6-2 1-1 Raducanu*
A strong hold to 15 from Lulu Sun.
Not much Emma Raducanu could do about that.
Sinner 6-2 6-4 5-6 Shelton*
Jannik Sinner lost the first three games of this third set but he's clawed his way back into it as he looks to get the job done in three.
A hold here takes us to a tie-break.
Ben Shelton slips when returning Sinner's serve and can't get back across to catch the next one.
Sinner goes long and Shelton now has a chance to break and take the set.

Now Emma Raducanu finds herself in a different position.
It's the first set she has dropped at the All England Club this year.
We know she is a fantastic frontrunner. How can she respond to going behind?

There might be hope that Lulu Sun has a dip when she starts thinking about the finish line.
If she plays like this the whole way through the match then too good, you shake hands and you lose to the better person on the day.
I think this match is a long way from being over.
*Sun 6-2 0-1 Raducanu
A big shout from Emma Raducanu as Lulu Sun sends her forehand long.
She does it again at game point and Raducanu sprints back to her chair as she takes an important hold. She's trying to gee herself up for this.
*Sinner 6-2 6-4 5-6 Shelton
Ben Shelton was wilting under the pressure and maybe the occasion in the first couple of sets but there's definitely more of a sense that the American feels he belongs on this stage now.
He opens up a 40-0 lead and stands up tall with his chest out as he returns to the baseline.
The 14th seed holds to 15 and is guaranteed at least a tie-break in this third set.

Well, the mood has turned like it would if a jealous ex turned up at a wedding.
Murmurs of surprise and discontent echo around Centre Court.

Honestly, just breathtaking. I can't believe what we have just witnessed here.
Lulu Sun is not overawed about taking on a British player on Centre Court.
She is always up at the net taking time away from Emma Raducanu. It has been amazing to watch.

Sun started so beautifully, she almost looks unflappable.
She’s really controlling the ball and Raducanu is struggling and just not able to build enough pressure.

What did I just see?! How did Jannik Sinner do that?
Ben Shelton is in complete disbelief as he stands with his hands on his hips while Court One rises to cheer. Incredible.
Sinner 6-2 6-4 5-5 Shelton*
It was said earlier, but when Ben Shelton is drawn into rallies the American just doesn't have the discipline to stay in them as he goes long. 40-30.
WOW! Through the legs from Sinner as the ball is almost fired onto his feet while he's backtracking at the baseline and then he follows up to hold.
Quite remarkable!

I had just made my way to court two to watch the final set of Paula Badosa’s match against Donna Vekic.
I was nearly there when there was a flurry of ground staff pouring past shouting to pull the covers on.
That was a few minutes ago and I’m still waiting for the rain to arrive.

Emma Raducanu needs as much support as she can at the moment.
Some of the loudest and most encouraging is coming from her friends in the box.
She calls them the “bricklayers”. Laying the foundations in her life since school and allowing her to build upwards.
Raducanu needs to get the trowel and put down a solid base.
Sun 6-2 Raducanu
Oooh. Has Lulu Sun taken the set? Emma Raducanu thinks not as her passing forehand is called out but she challenges.
It was in fact out and that's the opening set for Lulu Sun.
What a start for the New Zealand qualifier.

Ben Shelton challenges a call of wide and the initial decision is overturned. 30-30.
Could he?
