Alcaraz has basically said to his team that he can't deal with the height and the bounce of the ball right now.

That's very poor body language and not like Carlos at all.

    Zverev 3-6 6-2 Alcaraz

    Job done.

Zverev holds to love to win five games on the spin and take the second set in impressive fashion.

We're all square in what has been an entertaining final so far.

It was a little bit like this against Sinner. Alcaraz went into his shell a little bit in that match.

It's Alcaraz who has gone quiet. He's got to express himself like he did in that first set.

The serve and volley hasn't been used by Alcaraz so far in this second set. It was a tactic that was successful for him in the first set.

    Zverev 3-6 4-2 Alcaraz*

Great shot from Zverev, a powerful forehand down the line. He then places a forehand into the back corner of the court and Alcaraz at full stretch can only net.

    From 40-15 to deuce.

The layer of clay which was picked up by the wind earlier showed the level of breeze.

It can often whip around Chatrier, even if it feels rather benign outside.

Usually the server to the left of the umpire's chair is hitting into it and they also see more glare of the sun.

Service games from that end are the tougher at the moment.

    Zverev 3-6 4-2 Alcaraz*

Alcaraz whips down an ace for 40-15. He needs to get back on track here after losing three games on the spin.

Carlos Alcaraz looks a little bit out of sorts at the moment. He's missed a few more shots and some doubt has been created.

The chess match is just starting here because Zverev is doing different things. Small margins make a huge difference at the big moments.

    Zverev 3-6 4-2 Alcaraz*

    Wow!

What a point at deuce. Alcaraz does well to meet the half volley but Zverev was alert to it, chasing the ball down and responding with a brilliant cross-court forehand that kissed the line.

Even Alcaraz had to acknowledge how good that was.

The German takes the game to consolidate that break of serve.

Zverev is certainly looking a bit more confident. He celebrates winning the point when Alcaraz can only find the net with his backhand. Game point.

There it is. Zverev takes the break at the second opportunity.

That makes things interesting. Alcaraz was in control but has dropped off it a little in the last few games.

    Zverev 3-6 2-2 Alcaraz*

Alcaraz saves the first break point as Zverev's backhand can only find the net. He holds his arms in the air as if to say 'what can I do?' after a huge gust of wind flings up half of the clay court.
