I doubt doing the splits will help Novak Djokovic's knee.

But the 24-time major winner is up on his feet and it doesn't look like it has done him the slightest bit of harm.

Ouch. Novak Djokovic does the splits as he attempts to volley at the net to take the set but he is unable to get the full face of the racquet behind it.

The coaching set-up for Rune is perhaps the most perplexing at the best of times. Patrick Mouratoglou is his coach although isn’t here which is very unusual considering there are only four Grand Slams a year. You would think they were going to prioritise that.

Then you look up and the player box is still quite full – analyst, physio, just about everyone else, but not really a coach.

Novak Djokovic is absolutely rock solid when he needs to be.

I always wonder why he has to ask his coaching box where he should stand, though.

Holger Rune guilty of trying to return the ball with too much vigour. A couple of occasions he wildly overhits to the back of the court allowing Novak Djokovic a chance to back up the break with a hold.

He takes it as Rune strikes the net cord again.

I am spending most of my time watching Djokovic between the points here, There’s not much of a reaction. Still deep breaths. There’s certainly something going on with his body.

I feel that Rune’s so focused on his side of net, he’s not really seeing that Djokovic is struggling at the same time.

The crowd are getting right behind Holger Rune.

"Ruunnnnnne," is belted out every time he hammers home a winner.

We all know how dangerous Novak Djokovic can be with a crowd against him, though.

Yet again Holger Rune finds the net to give Novak Djokovic a second bite of the cherry, and this time the seven-time Wimbledon takes the break-point chance.

A break point, and Holger Rune thinks he's saved it with an ace down the centre of the court, but it's deemed out. Holger's second serve is good, though, and it's back to deuce.
