Wonder if he'll be keeping track of the England score?

    Swiatek 5-3 Putintseva*

Oh my, Putintseva earns another break point with a fine one-handed return from the baseline. She pumps her fist in celebration.

Yulia did a fantastic job just keeping that score board pressure.

Force [Swiatek] to serve it out. Never give it to her

    Swiatek 5-3 Putintseva*

Very cool from Swiatek who volleys an easy lay-up back where Putintseva was running from. 30-15.

Putintseva earns a shot a break point. Swiatek sets it down the line after being drawn to the net by a drop shot and Putintseva uses the space to her right-hand side.

  6. 'Swiatek controlling match in its entirety'published at 16:57 British Summer Time 6 July

    *Swiatek 5-3 Putuntseva

    Ashleigh Barty
Three-time Grand Slam champion on BBC TV

Putintseva hasn’t been able to be assertive early in points and against Swiatek it’s too difficult to absorb that pressure.

[Iga] is too good and we’re starting to see that frustration from Yulia now.

You have to be at your very best and at the moment Iga is controlling this match in its entirety.

  7. Putintseva holdspublished at 16:56 British Summer Time 6 July

    *Swiatek 5-3 Putintseva

Putintseva is serving to stay in the set.

And she comes out fighting, forcing a forehand down the line to lead 40-15.

Ah, Swiatek sends one back the other way, 40-30.

    Putintseva does manage to hold.

Chinese world number 42 Wang Xinyu after beating British number two Harriet Dart: "I'm super happy to be in the fourth round [for the first time]. It was really tough today, Harriet was playing really good, her balls are super flat, she was serving good. It was just a really tough battle, I'm just happy."

On whether she improved as the match went on: "I was getting a bit more used to her balls and all the slices. I felt more comfortable each time as the match was going. Now I'm looking forward to my next match."

On beating Jessica Pegula in the previous round: "That was my first win against a top five opponent. Really super happy to be here, I enjoy playing here. I hope to see you guys for my next match and hopefully you cheer more for me next time!"

  9. Swiatek closing in on first setpublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 6 July

    Swiatek 5-2 Putintseva*

Swiatek with an ace to move 30-0 clear - her third ace of the match - it's challenged by Putintseva, who feels it was wide, but Hawk-Eye shows it was well on the line.

Putintseva returns to the baseline and is ranting in the direction of her coach. Some frustration already.

The Kazakh gets back to 30-30.

Game Swiatek. She just does not miss with her backhand.

As you'd expect there was a huge ovation for Harriet Dart as she made her way off court. The British number two played so well and bossed the first set and a half.

But Wang Xinyu rallied and finished the stronger. Dart will have to wait until next year for another chance to make it to the second week at Wimbledon.

For Wang, the wait will be just a couple of days. She played superbly and gets plenty of cheers from those on court two when she suggests she might get more support from the crowd in her next match.

  11. Jabeur in action on Centrepublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 6 July

    *Jabeur 0-1 Svitolina

We're under way on Centre Court where two-time finalist at the All England Club Ons Jabeur is taking on Ukraine's Elina Svitolina.

Jabeur, seeded 10th, skewed her backhand out of court and Svitolina, seeded 21st, takes the first hold. She did have to fend off a break point but came through eventually so this could be an interesting one.

    Dart 6-2 5-7 3-6 Wang

    Johanna Konta

Wang Xinyu just did enough and she dealt with the occasion better.

She waited for the opportunity and it is just really unfortunate for Harriet Dart because she did so many things well.

  17. game, set and match

Game, set and match - Wangpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 6 July

    Dart 6-2 5-7 3-6 Wang

Harriet Dart's run comes to an end.

Wang Xinyu had the Brit sprinting one way then the other before putting away a backhand volley to win.

An impressive comeback from the Chinese world number 42. The turnaround came midway through the second set when Wang, a break down, came out firing and realised she could get after Dart's second serve.

From that point on, Dart was never allowed a comfortable service game. Heartbreak for her but Wang will be back next week.

  20. Putintseva holdspublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 6 July

    *Swiatek 2-2 Putintseva

Putintseva goes from defence to attack so smoothly. After starting off on the back foot, she steps up the court and blazes a forehand into the corner. 15-15.

A reminder from Swiatek as to why she is the world number one, sweeping Putintseva's serve straight back to get to 30-40.

Putintseva will hold, though, with Swiatek slipping on the baseline and hitting the net.
