Selby and Evans reach World Championship quarters

Welsh duo Andrew Selby and Fred Evans each scored unanimous victories to reach the quarter-finals of the World Championships in Kazakhstan.

Flyweight top seed Selby beat Cuba's Gerardo Tejeira in Almaty on Tuesday.

Olympic silver medallist Evans - top seed in the welterweight category - reached the last eight with victory over Kenya's Rayton Okwiri.

Welsh lightweight Joe Cordina was beaten by Cuban Lazaro Estrada before the quarter-finals.
