Great Britain's Laura Deas claimed her second medal of the skeleton World Cup season with bronze in St Moritz.

The Wrexham-born 25-year-old followed up silver in Calgary by finishing 0.24 seconds behind Austria's Janine Flock.

"I've had a really good training week and this is a great place to slide," said Deas. "I've managed to get back into it and really enjoyed racing."

Olympic skeleton champion Lizzy Yarnold finished sixth and fellow Brit Rose McGrandle 11th.

A mistake midway down the first run proved costly for Yarnold who could not add to her two World Cup wins this season finishing 0.55 seconds adrift of Flock.

In the men's, Britain's Dominic Parsons missed out on a podium finish as he finished fourth for the second week running after a bump saw him pipped by Russia's Nikita Tregybov. Latvia's Martins Dukurs won the race.

Parsons is fifth in the World Cup season rankings.
