Elise Christie wins short track speed skating World Cup gold

British short track speed skater Elise Christie won gold in the final World Cup 1,000m event of the season.
Canadian Kas Bradette took silver while Korean Shim Suk-hee claimed bronze in Erzurum, Turkey.
The 24-year-old, in her final outing before next month's World Championships in Moscow, finished one second ahead of Bradette in one minute 31.513 seconds.
The result sees Christie finish second in the World Cup rankings,, external while Shim's third place was enough for the title.
It followed two bronzes in Seoul and a 500m silver during the last round in Dresden, Germany.
She also won the European Championship title last month.
Her Great Britain team-mate Charlotte Gilmartin placed 48th overall.
