Aerials Europa Cup: Lloyd Wallace win first gold for Great Britain

Lloyd Wallace beat opponents from Switzerland, Russia, Belarus and USA to win Aerials gold in Airolo

Freestyle skier Lloyd Wallace won Great Britain's first-ever aerials Europa Cup gold medal in Switzerland.

The University of Bath student, 20, set a personal best score at Airolo to secure a maiden podium finish.

Ellie Koyander finished second in the Moguls Europa Cup season standings after her dual moguls win in Are, Sweden.

And Dave Ryding took second place in the overall Europa Cup slalom standings

Ryding, 28, was beaten to top spot by Italy's Riccardo Tonetti after finishing ninth in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.

Koyander, 23, who missed out on first place to Norway's Aurora Amundsen, becomes the first Great British skier to win an overall medal on the FIS Freestyle moguls Europa Cup tour, after seven podium finishes from her 12 races this season.
