Britain's Zoe Atkin won halfpipe bronze at the Freeski World Cup without having to race after the final was cancelled because of poor weather conditions at Mammoth Mountain, California.

The results were determined by the qualification scores the athletes claimed on Tuesday.

Atkin scored 82.50 points to take bronze, as China's Eileen Gu secured silver with 83.50 and Canada's Amy Fraser won gold with a score of 85.50.

"I'm super stoked," Fraser said.

"It's definitely the right call that we're not skiing in this weather today, but maybe it doesn't feel like a true win.

"But coming into qualifiers, we definitely knew it was a possibility that we wouldn't be able to have finals, so the goal there was to throw down and to win the day."
