The sun was shining on the Jubilee picnic held by Berkhamsted Prep School, in Hertfordshire, where seven-year-old Lily Pike was fittingly dressed. Her mother Felicity said: "A fabulous day in the sunshine - tug of war, bobbing for apples, welly-throwing and face painting."
Bertie and his owner Robert Buxton will be watching Sunday's flotilla and attending a street party in Kennington, London, on Monday.
