Woman killed and driver arrested after collision

A woman has been killed after she was hit by a car in Worcestershire

A pedestrian has been killed and a driver been arrested following a collision in Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to Droitwich Road, near to the Bull Inn in Fernhill Heath, at 17:50 GMT on Sunday.
A 78-year-old woman was found in a "critical condition" and was later confirmed dead at the scene despite receiving advanced life support.
West Mercia Police said a man, aged 33, was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remained in custody.
