Pedestrian dies in two-vehicle crash
A woman died in the crash on the A38 near Burton-upon-Trent

A pedestrian has died in a crash involving two vehicles on a major road in Staffordshire.
The collision happened on the A38 near Shobnall in Burton-upon-Trent at about 07:40 GMT on Saturday.
The 30-year-old woman died at the scene and the road was closed for about 10 hours.
Anyone who saw the woman before the crash, or has dashcam footage from the area, has been urged to contact Staffordshire Police.
The A38 was closed until about 17:45 GMT on Saturday, National Highways said.
