Winter arrived in the county this week, with the first snowfall turning woodland and fields into a wintery wonderland.
But it wasn't all positive, as driving conditions in the south of the county became somewhat hazardous.
Elsewhere saw the last of the Somerset carnival circuit completed, a DJ set played on the top deck of a double decker bus and a special birthday for a Midsomer Norton resident.
The county had its first snow on Thursday providing many glorious photo opportunities, but motorists were also warned of treacherous driving conditions and a number of roads were closed.
The Somerset County Carnivals for 2024 came to a conclusion on Saturday with about 50 carts taking part in the procession through Glastonbury. Following the carnival the eagerly anticipated results were announced, with Huckyduck Carnival Club and its Brunel themed cart winning the County Cup.
The home straight: Harry Kimber riding My Mate Polly, left, clears the last fence at Wincanton to win the Christmas Parties At Wincanton Racecourse Novices' Handicap Chase on Thursday.
As part of the carnival, a group of DJ's celebrated the 376 bus route between Glastonbury and Bristol by performing on one of its buses.
Olympic and paralympic heroes gathered at Team Bath this week for the first time since the Games in Paris earlier this summer.
Dimitri Coutya, Kieran Bird, Becky Wilde, Dan Bethell and Piers Gilliver can be seen here proudly displaying their medals.
And finally we want to say a big Happy Birthday to Robert Warners, who celebrated his 105th birthday on Wednesday.
He is one of the last remaining D Day veterans and a resident at a Midsomer Norton care home.
We hope you had a fantastic day!
