Witness appeal following fatal three-car crash

Police have appealed for witnesses following a fatal crash involving three cars.

The incident happened on 28 December at 14:28 GMT when a silver BMW 4 Series and a silver Skoda Yeti collided on the A47 between the B1110 near Hockering and the B1147 near Dereham.

The driver of the Skoda, a man in his 60s, died at the scene, said Norfolk Police.

A passenger in the Skoda, a woman in her 40s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the BMW was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged.

A third vehicle, a blue Honda Civic, collided with the verge.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of the vehicles before it happened.
