Third murder charge over east London fatal stabbing

A third man has been charged with murder after a 23-year-old man was fatally stabbed in east London.

Haseeb Bhatti died on Flamstead Road, Dagenham, at about 01:30 BST on 20 April.

Haiden Khalik-Noor, 18, of Dagenham was charged on Thursday 5 December and appeared at Barkingside Magistrates' Court the next day. He is due to appear next at the Old Bailey on Monday.

Swayf Amana, 26, of Barking, and Frankie Burleton, 24, from Dagenham, have also been charged with murder.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service after a 50-year-old man suffered stab injuries in Rothwell Gardens, Dagenham.

Officers attended and found Mr Bhatti in nearby Flamstead Road. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he died at the scene.

The condition of the 50-year-old man was not life-threatening and he was discharged from hospital.

Mr Khalik-Noor, Mr Amana and Mr Burleton have also been charged with attempted murder of the 50-year-old.
