Three people have been killed following a crash between a car and a cement mixer in Worcestershire.
Ambulance crews were called to the A4103 in Bransford at 15:25 GMT on Thursday where they found two women and a man in their 70s, who had been travelling in a grey Vauxhall Astra, in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Despite everyone's best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save them and they were confirmed dead at the scene."
A man in the cement mixer was also treated for injuries that were not believed to be serious before he was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said no arrests had been made but witnesses were being asked to come forward.
PC Paul Bosley added: "Our thoughts are with the loved ones of those who lost their lives yesterday, at this incredibly difficult time.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision itself as well as anyone who possibly saw either vehicle prior to the incident.
"Relevant dashcam footage could also help us in the investigation."
He said: "The grey Astra had been travelling from the direction of Leigh Sinton and heading towards Worcester, and the white concrete mixer was travelling in the opposite direction."
