Drivers have been warned to expect disruption and delays on roads across the Isle of Man as line painting takes place over the next two weeks.

Diversions will be put in place while work is carried out until 2 August.

The Department of Infrastructure said it would also include the reinstatement of iron works and road markings.

Line painting could not be carried out in poor weather, but work on each individual stretch of road is expected to take only one day, it added.

Roads affected include:

  • Palatine Road, Douglas

  • Ballaragh Road, Laxey

  • Jurby Road at St Judes, Andreas

  • Regaby West Road, Andreas

  • Ballacriy Park, Colby

  • Bay View Road, Port Erin

  • Dalby Road, Patrick
