Delays after three-vehicle crash on M4

The emergency services were called to the M4 near Bristol earlier after a three-vehicle crash.

Two lanes were closed on the westbound carriageway between Junction 19 (Bristol) and J20 (Almondsbury Interchange) after Avon and Somerset Police traffic units went to the site at 08:15 BST.

Fire and ambulance crews also attended the scene, although police said no serious injuries had been reported.

Police left the scene shortly after 09:30, with National Highways staff recovering the vehicles involved.
