Man re-arrested and charged over Aberdeen death

Austin Ironside died in hospital

A man has been re-arrested and charged over the death of a 25-year-old man in Aberdeen.

Austin Ironside was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after emergency services were called to Skene Street last Sunday. He died last Tuesday.

A 46-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death on Monday but was later released "pending further inquiries".

Police confirmed the same man has now been arrested again and charged, and will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday.
