Woman, 74, dies after car crash

The collision happened at the crossroads for Kilnwick on the B1248 on Friday 8 March

Police are continuing to appeal for information after a woman died as the result of a car crash 10 days ago.

It is believed the collision took place shortly after 10:00 GMT on Friday 8 March and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and grey Citroën C4 on the B1248 at the crossroads for Kilnwick.

A 74-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries but died on Sunday 17 March, Humberside Police confirmed.

In a statement police say her family are being "supported by specially trained officers" and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage of the incident or the vehicles taken before the crash.
