A coroner has ruled the cause of death of a mental health counsellor is inconclusive, after a 13-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Sarah Forrester, 55, was found not breathing when officers arrived at her house on Baydon Close in Moredon, Swindon, at about 19:00 GMT on Friday.

She was later declared dead at the scene, Wiltshire Police said. The teenage girl who was arrested has since been bailed.

Detectives said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with Ms Forrester's death but urged people not to speculate on the circumstances. A police investigation is ongoing.

Ms Forrester worked as a counsellor at The Kelly Foundation, a Swindon charity which supports individuals with severe anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

Colleagues and neighbours described her as a "thoughtful, considerate and caring" woman who often put others before herself.

Supt Mike Vass, of Wiltshire Police, said: "We appreciate the significant impact this incident has had on the local community and wider town and we would encourage anyone who has any concerns or needs additional support to reach out to their local neighbourhood team."

He added: "An investigation is continuing into Sarah's death, with the cause of death remaining unexplained.

"Our thoughts remain with her friends and family at this sad time."
