A tractor driver has denied all charges against him after a tractor was seen driving through the flooded streets of a Worcestershire town.

Simon Morgan, 58, appeared at Worcester Crown Court, in connection with the incident, in Tenbury Wells, on 24 November 2024.

Mr Morgan, of St Michaels, Tenbury Wells, pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving and 16 counts of causing criminal damage worth more than £100,000.

Judge James Burbidge KC told Mr Morgan his trial would start on 10 January 2028.

In the wake of the flood business owner Stephanie Hopkins, of Eternally Ageless Aesthetics, said her shop was left as an "empty shell" after it was hit by a wave caused by the tractor.

In 2024, she said she feared her business may never reopen. "I can't see that we can possibly really open again," Ms Hopkins said.
