Fire crews tackle Tunbridge Wells flats blaze

Six fire engines were called to a blaze at a block of flats in Tunbridge Wells on Saturday afternoon.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said a height vehicle and crews in breathing apparatus were tackling flames at the property on Linden Park Road using jets.

Two people suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation were treated by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).

The cause of the fire was not yet known.
