Ofgem: 'We are watching energy companies closely'
The energy industry regulator Ofgem has said it will continue with plans to overhaul the energy market and create more competition. It wants clearer prices and simpler bills.
It has also been looking into the profits which the big power firms have been making.
Alistair Buchanan, the chief executive of Ofgem, told the BBC that one of the companies which had attracted their attention was Scottish Power.
