In Helmand province in Afghanistan the Taliban have tried to recruit a 12-year-old boy as a suicide bomber.

They kidnapped him and made a suicide vest to fit him, but he ran away in the night before they could carry out their plan.

The BBC's David Loyn reports from Lashkar Gah, in Helmand.
