One boy's journey from Sudan to Britain in search of safety

Kent County Council in England is currently caring for 730 unaccompanied children who have crossed the English Channel to Dover.

One of those is 16-year-old Shasli.

He escaped from Darfur in Sudan with his family after his father was killed by pro-government forces.

In Libya, he became forcibly separated from his mother and two brothers. Since then, he has made a difficult journey, alone, to Britain.

He told the BBC's Andrew Bomford about his experiences.
