Nationwide: House prices will 'stabilise again'

House prices in the UK hardly changed over the whole of 2010, according to the Nationwide.

The building society has said the cost of a typical home rose fractionally in December, the first monthly rise since May.

The Nationwide's chief economist Martin Gahbauer said prices will eventually stabilise again.
