Grayling: 'Unemployment will always be a challenge'

The latest official figures show unemployment has risen again.

The total increased by 49,000 to more than 2.5m in the three months to November 2010.

The number of young people aged 16 to 24 who are unemployed is at its highest level since figures were first recorded in 1992.

The Work and Pensions minister Chris Grayling said that it would take time to turn things around.
