Can EU countries meet their renewable energy targets?

An announcement is due to be made about which countries of the European Union are on target to produce 20% of their energy from renewable sources such as solar, wind and hydro-electric power.

Later this week, the topic of energy will be discussed at the EU summit, with some important decisions expected.
