Chris Grayling on 'unwelcome' unemployment figures

The number of people without work rose by 80,000 in the three months to July - fuelled by a big rise in the number of young people without a job.

It was the biggest quarterly increase in unemployment for nearly two years.

The jobless total is now more than 2.5 million.

The Employment Minister Chris Grayling told the BBC these figures are "unwelcome" and the government faces "a challenge".
