IMF warns of 'Dangerous new phase' for global economy

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that the United States and the eurozone are at increased risk of falling back into recession.

If that does happen, the IMF says other economies will also be significantly damaged.

Speaking at a news conference the director of research at the IMF, Olivier Blanchard, said the global economy has entered a dangerous new phase.
