Lagarde: 'Global economy half-way through work'
International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde has said the global economy is 'half-way through the work that needed to be done'.
Mrs Lagarde told reporters that a lot of work had already been done and that she is very encouraged by the dialogue between the IMF and its member states.
The IMF chief went on to say that the global economy was at a critical junction but was that it was a matter of "pushing through to get to the other side".
