Murdoch faces rough ride with shareholders

News Corporation chief Rupert Murdoch is braced for a rough ride from shareholders at the company's annual meeting later.

A growing number of shareholder advisory groups are recommending investors use the AGM in Los Angeles to vote against as many as 13 out of 15 News Corp directors.

Some want to see Mr Murdoch and his sons ousted from the board following the disastrous phone hacking scandal at News Corp's now closed British newspaper News of the World.
