Unions dismiss 'token strike' idea

Union leaders have dismissed a suggestion from a government minister that public sector workers planning to strike over pension changes stage a walkout of just 15 minutes.

Cabinet Office Minister Francis Maude said the "token" action on 30 November would allow workers to have their say without losing a day's pay.
