Talking apps down on the iFarm

As global population soars, the pressure on farmers to produce more from less is getting ever greater.

The UN estimates that by 2050, the world's farmers will have to produce up to 70% more than they do now.

Help is needed - which is why British farmers gathered recently at Mudchute Farm in east London to discuss ways in which mobile apps and other technology could aid in their work.
