Airport strike will damage UK, says Institute of Directors

Airlines landing at Heathrow and Gatwick have been told to consider halving the number of their international passengers on 30th November.

The advice is being given in the hope that it will reduce problems caused by a planned walk out by immigration officers on that day.

Director General of the Institute of Directors, Simon Walker, told the BBC that the disruption would be "incredibly damaging".
